Conduct for Visitors and Parents
Purpose
To ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for pupils, staff, and the school community.
Considerations for Parents and Visitors
- Respectful Communication: communicate respectfully with all members of the school community, including staff, pupils, and other parents.
- Support for School Policies: support and adhere to the school's policies and procedures, including attendance, behaviour, and uniform policies.
- Positive Role Modelling: modelling positive behaviour and attitudes for our children, demonstrating respect, responsibility, and kindness.
- Constructive Feedback: concerns or complaints raised in a constructive manner, following the Trust's complaints procedure.
- Engagement and Participation: in school activities and events, supporting the children’s education and the school community.
- Confidentiality: respect the confidentiality of school matters and avoid discussing sensitive issues in public forums or on social media.
- Safety and Security: follow the school's safety and security procedures, including signing in at the office when visiting and adhering to drop-off and pick-up protocols.
Consequences
Failure to adhere to the above points may result in restricted access to school premises and activities, and in serious cases, legal action.
Physical or verbal abuse towards staff will not be tolerated. Visitors who do not behave respectfully face being banned from the site and the police may be called.
