At Ankermoor, School Council play a vital role in the day-to-day life of our school. Each year, two pupils are elected by their classmates to sit on the council. The council pupils then elect their chairperson, vice chair, treasurer and secretary. Each week, a meeting agenda is set and minutes are taken. The council meet regularly to come up with ideas for school improvement, problem-solve current issues and come up with exciting and interesting initiatives and challenges for pupils to take part in. The council play an important role in fundraising for our school funds and local charities too.
